How are you? – Life Update 2022
First of all, Happy belated new year.
I had so much fun content for the first month of 2022 but unfortunately time just got away with me.
Secondly how are we?
This month has been a rather busy month for me, obviously end of December was christmas, my partner worked so much over the christmas period and I did a few 2am starts so my body clock was all over the place, We had an amazing christmas and it was just truly beautiful to see my daughter understand it all a little bit more.
We had a quiet new year at home but was perfect for us.
so let’s start talking 2022!
To start the year off we actually re-did our living area and added a mustard colour into our colour scheme that was previously just grey, we still have some prints to go up on the wall and once this is all done I will be sharing before and after videos and images. Which brings me onto my next subject, one of my New Years resolutions this year was to make my house feel a home.
so this year I will be adding lots of home inspiration, mood boards, I have some quite different posts to write about this year (which are already planned) and before we move onto the next bit we have also bought a new bed after long last (more on that in another post)
So a few days before my daughters 2nd birthday she accidentally smashed our TV thankfully it was insured and were actually having a new one delivered Tuesday after two weeks of not having one. So those with young children please do get out insurance as it is so worth it, accidents do happen!
On the 20th January my little girl turned two! That’s right, 2!! I just cannot believe how fast time has gone and only seemed a few months ago that I was writing my post to introduce her to everyone! We took her swimming for the first time, being born just before the pandemic started we wasn’t able to take her swimming from a young age but she absolutely loved it and later we went for breakfast at a lovely little place and of course she had pancakes with yoghurt and fruit compote (her absolute favourite that I try and recreate at home) She’s honestly turned into the most funny, lovely little girl and I couldn’t be more proud of her.
on another note she moved into a ‘big girl bed’ she’s done so so well and I am immensely proud of her and she took to it really well, she was definitely ready.
so before I go I’d just like to ask if you do read this post please do write some posts you’d like to see this year from me!
I‘m excited to see where this year takes us, I have so much content planned for the foreseeable so please do stick around
as always
with love tiff x
