Jord Watches Review
I am back with such an exciting post. Jord watches got into contact with me about reviewing one of their watches and hosting a giveaway for you all, when they asked I was so excited literally jumping up and down trying to contain my excitement because who doesn’t love a new watch? Especially when it is sustainable.
A little about Jord
Jord (pronounced Yode like Yoda with no a) is a US based company, however they ship internationally therefore anyone can order. Jord launched in 2013 with their watches which are made of various hardwoods but they have since however made many more collections from natural and reclaimed materials. Jord now has many collections such as sunglasses, Apple watch bands and even handbags. They have also recently opened a new location in europe which will make shipping quicker and inexpensive.

My Watch
When Jord first got in touch with me, I immediately went onto their website as I couldn’t believe that they were watches made from wood. As I scroll through their website, I see more and more and they are all beautiful. I don’t know if it is just me but I was not expecting them to look that great to be honest. However I was completely wrong and I hold my hands up and say I was completely wrong. They are beautifully crafted and made to look so modern also.
They are so classic and timeless. What I love about Jord is that they just keep on giving. As you look through their website you notice they do other things such as sunglasses and vegan handbags. I mean how amazing is that? They also can engrave the back of the watch for you which add that extra sentimental value for someone you love.
One thing I do love about Jord is that their watches can be made to size which is absolutely amazing. I have such small wrists that watches hardly ever fit me so I always need them to be changed or have links taken out which is a complete nightmare. Jord actually has their own measurement guide so you can have a watch made to fit,absolutely hassle free and ready to wear as soon as you receive it in the post! I had been looking at this watch for ages and decided that this was the one I wanted, although it was a hard decision because there are many beautiful watches on their website.
The walnut colour of the band really compliments the rose gold face of the clock. I obviously chose this coloured watch because what girl doesn’t love rose gold?
Most Jord watches can also be customizable to your wants and needs too for example you can change the type of wood you would like if you would prefer to have a different colour.
The watch came in a beautiful box that is magnetic (how cool is that) and the watch is placed inside on a little cushion. There is also a draw in the box which is where I have put the cloth and other bits that came with the watch, which is so so handy.
The Cassia Series has 5 different coloured clock faces, so you don’t have to have rose gold if that is not your cup of tea and there are plenty to choose from. You are more than likely to find the perfect watch for you.
This watch has domed sapphire crystal glass, seamless band integration and anodized deployment buckle. The band is approximately 13.8mm which is one of the smallest bands they do within their watch collections. The band is hand fished and pretreated with tung oils.
The clock face is rose gold and has a black dial which compliments beautifully and ties in the whole watch.
The watch itself actually weighs hardly anything, I thought it was going to be quite heavy and uncomfortable but it is the complete opposite. You hardly notice that it is on your wrist to be quite honest and it is so comfortable to wear that I’ve actually gone to bed with it on. (whoops)
This particular watch does retail for £160 which is slightly in the higher price bracket but honestly you get what you pay for it is a brilliant quality watch that will last you years. Which reminds me that you also get a 1 year warranty and hassle free returns!
I am completely in love with this watch and I now wear it on special occasions, after having a 12 week old baby, she has just started to pull things and I would hate for it to get ruined.
